Wet chemical fire extinguisher ID signs are made from rigid plastic, available in two different sizes and are photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark). This luminescence means the sign will be visible in the event of a mains power failure. Under BS 5306-8:2012 ID signs must be displayed to show users which type of fire the extinguisher can or cannot be used on.
- ID signs specific for water fire extinguishers
- Durable rigid plastic, with improved aging and weathering performance
- Photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark)
- Class C photoluminescence as recommended by PSPA
- Complies to BS ISO 3864-1:2011
- Suitable for areas with a regular source of light, as the light will ‘charge’ the signs
- Available in two sizes:
- Portrait: 200x80mm
- Landscape: 105x150mm
