CO2 fire extinguishers are suitable for us on electrical equipment, as they do not conduct electricity. Making them ideal for schools, offices, hospitals, and other public areas with this type of fire risk.
Important: Our 2kg CO2 extinguishers with horn are equipped with double-walled frost-free horns, which prevent freeze-burns on your hands. The horn of the 5kg CO2 extinguisher, being much larger, features a double-walled handle to allow the horn to be directed safely and removing the need to touch the horn itself.

CO2 Fire Extinguishers
CO2 fire extinguishers are rated for use on Class B fires (flammable liquids) and on live electrical equipment. This makes them ideal to be installed where flammable liquids such as petrol and alcohol are used and stored, as well as locations with electrical equipment such as offices with computing equipment and server rooms. As they extinguish a fire with the use of carbon dioxide gas at great pressure, and at low temperatures, they effectively cool and suffocate the fire of its oxygen source. Supplied complete with a frost-free horn, our CO2 fire extinguishers prevent any injury to the users hands during use if the horn was to be handled.
