Technical Data
DoorSense is a battery powered fire door retainer, which is simple to install on new fire doors and retrospectively on existing doors. Once installed, these units improve ventilation and accessibility in high traffic areas, while still ensuring that fire doors close in the event of a fire.
- No wires – runs on 2 x C-Type batteries (included)
- Acoustic detection system – triggered at 64dB for 15 seconds or more
- Ideal for schools, hospitals, offices, and public buildings
- Improves ventilation and accessibility for all
- Easy to install and low maintenance
- Suitable for doors up to 1600mm and 160kg in weight
- Automatic door release via timer function
- Low battery indicator and fail safe mode
