Three children have died as a result of a house fire in Bridlington. The children are believed to be aged nine, five and three and were occupants of the house in Clarence Avenue, Bridlington when the fire broke out just before midnight.
A woman aged 27 years old was also rescued from the fire and is believed to be in a critical condition in Scarborough hospital.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown but it is thought that the fire started from within the property. A joint investigation between the fire service and police is now in progress to identify the cause.
